‘Whatsapp’ to introduce group voice and video calling soon

Lahore (Web Desk): ‘Whatsapp’ to introduce ‘group voice and video calling’ feature in Android latest version soon.

WhatsApp users will be able to make conference calls, both voice and video to their friend and family members with this feature.

WaBetaInfo, a site that tests new WhatsApp features reported that the feature is being tested and will soon be rolled out in the days to come.

A tweet by WaBetaInfo was: “WhatsApp 2.17.70 sends a request to the server to ask if the user you are calling is in another group call!”

The new test version of WhatsApp will have other interesting features as well including a smaller app size. Moreover, the version will have an option to notify your contacts if you change your phone number.

WhatsApp also announced a tool that will stop a group admin to delete the other group creator. Also, admins will be given powers to decide whether other members of the group can change the subject of the group, its icon, and description. The ‘unsend’ feature of WhatsApp we are all waiting for, might just launch soon as well.

WaBetaInfo also unveiled that WhatsApp is testing “Delete for Everyone” option. WaBetaInfo said: “The server finally works and it successfully recalls the message. It will be remotely enabled later and seen that WhatsApp ‘enabled’ their servers for the Delete for Everyone feature, it may really be enabled soon”

This feature will enable users to get back unsend texts, images, videos, GIFs, documents, quoted messages and status replies in just five minutes.
