Pakistan Army soldier martyred during IBO in Awaran: ISPR

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): A Pakistan Army soldier was martyred during exchange of firing with terrorists in Awaran district of Balochistan.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on terrorist hideout in Silak Kaur, Awaran, Balochistan.

One terrorist was killed and one apprehended and a large cache of arms, ammunition and communication equipment were recovered from the hideout.

“During an intense exchange of fire with terrorists Havaldar Shoaib embraced martyrdom,” the ISPR statement said.
