Islamabad (Web Desk): Barrister Shehzad Ata Elahi on Friday resigned from his office as Attorney General for Pakistan (AGP).
As per the reports, in his resignation letter to President Dr Arif Alvi, Barrister Shehzad Ata Elahi cited personal reasons however, speculations are rife that he resigned due to the immense pressure he was put under.
He was appointed as the new AGP on February 2, 2023.
Elahi had replaced Ashtar Ausaf Ali, who resigned on account of his deteriorating health.
