Ist Test: England win toss, opt to bat against Pakistan

London (Agencies): England won the toss and will bat first against Pakistan in the first Test of a two-match series at Lord’s on Thursday.

The match is scheduled to start on 3pm (PST),10am (local and 10am GMT). PTV Sports and Ten Sports are telecasting live action for Pakistan & UAE citizens. The fixture will also be broadcast on Sony SIX and Sony SIX HD in English commentary. They are the official broadcasters of the series.

According to the local met office, it may possible that rain will disrupt the first day of the match.

Sarfraz Ahmad, while talking to newsmen ahead of Lord’s Test, said he is satisfied with the team’s preparations and Green Shirts can turn the tide anytime, against anyone, anywhere.

The captain added, English team may be favorite under home conditions but he has confidence in his young team and is confident of his skills too.
