4 wardens involved in leaking information of ‘VVIP movement’ dismissed

Lahore (Staff Report): Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Liaquat Ali Malik has dismissed four traffic wardens from service and awarded other punishments to 21 more for involved in leaking the secret information of VVIP movement.

The action has been taken in the light of an enquiry report conducted by a SP ranked officer.

The SP had recommended strong action against the traffic wardens held guilty of security risk.

According to sources, at least four wardens dismissed from service were directly involved in leaking the secret information of VVIP movement amid high security threats to the high-profile personalities.

Nasir, Mahmood, Rizwan and Saqib had a Whatsapp group on their mobile phones to disclose the secret movement of the VVIP personalities, they added.
