Islamabad (Web Desk): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan.
According to Radio Pakistan, Director General ISI Lt. Gen. Faiz Hamid was also present during the meeting. Matters pertaining to the national security were discussed during the meeting.
Earlier the day, Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry met PM Khan.
During the meeting, the premier was given a detailed briefing on the Drone Authority Ordinance.
It was briefed that with the establishment of the Drone Authority, drone technology will be used for research purposes in various fields including assistance in maintaining law and order, search and rescue operations, logistics, agriculture and many other areas for peaceful purposes.
