Panama case: JIT summons PM Nawaz’s son Hussain Nawaz

Islamabad (Staff Report): The Joint Investigation Team (JIT), formed to investigate offshore companies of ruling family in line with Supreme Court’s verdict, on Thursday Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son Hussain Nawaz.

The committee will ask questions regarding London flats, Jeddah Mills and Qatari letter.

Meanwhile, a special bench of the apex has fixed for hearing a plea, filed by Hussain Nawaz, who has expressed his reservations over two members of the JIT.

The three-judge special bench will take up on May 29 Hussain Nawaz’s plea, objecting to Amer Aziz and Bilal Rasool, who respectively represent the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in the six-member JIT.
