Sahiwal (Staff Report): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday inaugurated the first unit of 660 megawatts Sahiwal Coal Power Plant.
The plant with capacity of 660-MW has been completed in a record period of twenty two months.
The second unit of the will also start generating electricity from next month.
The electricity generated from this plant will be available at the rate of Rs 8.11 per unit.
