Beijing (Web Desk): China supports the constructive role of the international community, including the United States, to improve the Pakistan-India ties, said a spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Office.
At a regular news briefing in Beijing, the spokesperson expressed hope that the two countries can settle the Kashmir issue peacefully and through dialogue. The spokesperson added that being a neighbouring country to Pakistan and India, China sincerely hopes that the two countries can live in harmony.
When asked about the completion of the Sukkur-Multan motorway, the spokesperson said that during construction the project created around 29,000 job opportunities. “It is the biggest transportation infrastructure project under the CPEC and one of its early harvests. After putting it into operation, we believe this project will play an important role in the economic and social development of the two countries, especially Pakistan.”
