Islamabad (Staff Report): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan on Monday condemned the ballistic missile attacks on Saudi Arabia by Yemen's Shiite rebels.
“Pakistan commends the Government of Saudi Arabia for destroying the missiles and limiting the casualties,” the statement issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads.
In the statement government of Pakistan assured its full support and solidarity with Saudi Arabia its “leadership, government and people, against any kind of threat to its territorial integrity and against the Haramain Sharifain.”
Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif separately condemned the attack through Tweeter.
Earlier, Yemen's Houthi-run SABA news agency reported that on Sunday, the Saudi air force intercepted a missile over the northeastern part of the capital Riyadh.
