Islamabad (Staff Report): The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Wednesday approved Rs.1.16 per unit increase in power tariff under monthly fuel adjustment formula.
The new prince will be applicable to all power distribution companies except for K-Electric.
The Central Power Purchase Agency Guarantee Limited (CPPA-G) had sought Rs 1.50 increase in electricity prices under fuel adjustment for August but the NEPRA approved Rs1.16 hike.
