Lahore (Staff Report): SHO Garhi Shahu has detained a three-member dacoit gang suspected of being involved in more than 40 thefts, in the wee hours of Friday.
According to police, in a raid conducted on a tip-off, two suspects including a ringleader of Tari gang were detained further adding that weapons, mobile phones and looted money were recovered from them.
Earlier, police unearthed a 12-member dacoit gang and detained four of its members from Western zone of Karachi in Sept 2016.
According to the reports of SSP West Pir Mohammad Shah, police recovered 50 tablets, 210 mobile phones and 6 kilogrammes of gold from the gang’s custody.
