MQM-Pakistan takes back MNA Ali Raza Abidi: Sources

Karachi (Staff Report): Member National Assembly MNA Ali Raza Abidi has rejoined Muttahida Qaumi Movement (Pakistan) on Friday.

Party spokesperson informed, as MQM-Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar has considered Abidi’s return in MQM, the federal legislator would soon visit MQM-Pakistan`s office in PIB Colony.

Earlier, MNA Abidiwas directed to resign from the National Assembly after MQM-Pakistan ended his basic membership as he was accused not to follow policies taken August 23 onwards.

On August 23, Deputy Convener Farooq Sattar taking control of the party leadership had distanced itself from controversial anti-Pakistan statements made by the party leadership in London.

On October 23, leadership of MQM Pakistan expelled 11 party members, directing workers to not keep any contact with them.

The expulsion of MQM-Pakistan parliamentarian Ali Raza Abidi from the party ranks was strongly reacted by MQM-London.
