Govt to make amendments in NAB law soon: Farogh Naseem

Islamabad (Staff Report): Federal Law Minister Farogh Naseem has said that the government is planning to make some amendments in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) law.

“The government will soon make amendments in the NAB law to ensure elimination of corruption from the country,” Farogh Naseem told media on Wednesday. “Some development will also be made in the law related to plea bargain,” he added.

“Any changes in the Constitution are made according to need and time. There are some matters in the 18th Amendment, which needs discussion. But for now, the government has no intentions to bring any changes to the amendment,” the minister said.

To a question regarding declaring Urdu as official language, the minister said that the top court’s judgment should be implemented.
