Ramzan 1438 AH begins in KSA, UAE, Middle East

Riyadh, KSA (Staff Report): Muslims living across Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), other Middle Eastern countries, United States and other European countries are fasting to welcome the holy month of Ramazan that began today (Saturday).

The first fasting day will be on the weekend (Saturday) in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and other Middle Eastern countries.

The working hours in the Middle Eastern countries have been shortened and changed the timings to accommodate the Muslims fasting in the holy month.

Dozens of Muslims visited mosques to offered first Tarawih on Friday. On the occasion, they expressed happiness and thanked Allah Almighty for the blessing of this month.

Meanwhile, the holy month will start from 28th May in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.

Muslims try to come closer to Almighty Allah by offering prayers and abstain themselves from drinking, eating and smoking in the holy month.
