Islamabad (Web Desk): The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has decided to start COVID-19 vaccination of children aged 12 and above.
“In today's NCOC meeting decided to start vaccination of all 12 years and older. Special drive will be run for vaccination at schools to make it easier for children to be vaccinated,” Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar said in a tweet.

Umar, who also heads the NCOC, said the government will send vaccination teams to schools to administer jabs in order to make access to vaccines easier.
According to NCOC statistics, the country administered 961,340 Covid-19 doses on September 27. So far, Pakistan has administered 79,531,641 doses.
