Lahore (Staff Report): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday left for London.
According to sources, Abbasi and Shehbaz will meet deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif, who landed in Saudi Arabia a few days ago reportedly to meet his mother and perform Umrah is also set to reach London instead of heading Pakistan, to discuss important matters and current political situation of the country.
Regarding Nawaz’s tour to Jeddah, there were claims made by media that the ex-premier was scheduled to hold meetings with members of some influential personalities of the Kingdom.
It may mention here that Nawaz Sharif reached the Gulf country days after Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa held a high profile meeting with Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
