PCB tribunal accepts Khalid Latif’s plea to adjourn proceeding

Lahore (Staff Report): A three-member anti-corruption tribunal, Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU), of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday approved the request of Khalid Latif, suspended over spot-fixing charges, to adjourn the proceedings till June 14.

A PCB statement confirmed that Khalid Latif had emailed the tribunal requesting that they be allowed to advance their defence from June 14.

The Anti-Corruption Tribunal has granted the request of the cricketer and adjourned the proceedings till June 14 after holding detailed deliberations regarding the cricketer’s plea.

Earlier in May, Khalid Latif boycotted the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) anti-corruption tribunal.
