Major General Asif Ghafoor's tweet comes after India's unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a 26-year-old civilian identified as Nauman was martyred and nine others were wounded when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing.

The military's media wing added that the Indian Army, using mortars and artillery guns in the firing and shelling, targeted civilian areas in Dana, Dhodial, Lipa, Jora, Shahdara, and Shahkot sectors.

Pakistan Army effectively responded to the Indian Army's firing, targeting Indian posts from where the firing was initiated. Pakistani troops killed three Indian Army officers and wounded multiple others.

Many Indian posts were hit by Pakistan Army as well, the ISPR added.
