Lahore (Web Desk): Jumu’atul-Wida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramazan, observed today with religious zeal and fervour across the country.
According to the Radio Pakistan, millions of fasting people offered Friday prayers at mosques. Special prayers were offered for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and the unity of Muslim Ummah.
Ulema and Mashaikh, in their special sermons, highlighted the importance of the holy month of Ramazan, fasting, Itikaf and Jumu’atul-Wida.
Jumatul-Wida has a special significance since it is a prelude to the departure of the holy month of Ramazan.
