US film maker wants to open her own ‘Chai shop’ in Pakistan

Karachi: Cynthia Ritchie, an American documentary film maker who lived in Pakistan, for three years says she wants to open her own ‘Chai shop’ in Pakistan.

“I’d like to open up my own Chai shop in Pakistan…., ” Cynthia Ritchie said.

“There is no way to describe in writing the absolute beauty and hospitality of the Pakistani people; this must be experienced in person to fully appreciate,” said Cynthia in a post shared by the US Consulate General in Karachi on its Facebook page.

“In Pakistani food, I love goat brain a lot… but my all-time favourite is Doodh Patti– I prefer it with buffalo milk and Pakistani Shahed (honey) or the special Kashmiri Chai!,” she said.
