Islamabad (Agencies): The federal government has decided to appoint Asim Ahmed as the new chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
According to sources, the federal cabinet has approved Asim Ahmed’s appointment as head of tax regulatory authority.
Ahmed, who is from the Inland Revenue, would be given the charge of FBR upon incumbent chairman Javed Ghani’s retirement after reaching the age of superannuation probably on April 12, 2021.
