Islamabad/Lahore (Staff Report/Agencies): A 6.4-magnitutde earthquake hit various parts of country on late Friday.
The tremors were felt in Islamabad, several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab provinces.
The German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said in a statement that an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 struck the Tajikistan-Xinjiang border region late on Friday.
The quake was at a depth of 86 km (53.4 miles), GFZ said.
There were no reports of loss to life or property.
