Islamabad (Staff Report): Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has directed the Federal Investigation Agency's (FIA) to take action against those ridiculing Pakistan Army on social media.
Chaudhry said on Sunday that under the constitution it is not permissible to criticize national security matters and related institutions.
“Ridiculing the army or its officers under the garb of freedom of expression is unacceptable,” the minister said and directed the FIA Cyber Crime Wing to take action without any discrimination against all involved in such condemnable act regardless of their party affiliation, group or profession.
