Heavy rain lashes Lahore, roads flooded

Lahore (Web Desk): Early morning rain today (Friday) in Punjab’s provincial capital turned the weather pleasant for Lahoris braving scorching sun from a couple of days.

According to details, the rain lashed different adjacent areas including Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other parts of the city.

Rain with isolated heavy falls with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan, Bannu, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions, FATA and Kashmir during the next twelve hours.

However, hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country during the next twelve hours.

After heavy rain the temperature plummeted to 28°C, that also caused power cuts in different areas. However, social media buffs shared their joy online after the rain that would certainly soothe the weekend.

Islamabad 22°C, Lahore and Karachi 28°C, Peshawar 23°C, Quetta 18, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad 19°C and Murree 15°C.
