New York (Web Desk): The worldwide number of Covid-19 cases has crossed 15.9 million while the pandemic has claimed more than 640,000 lives, a foreign news agency reported.
The United States (US) is the worse hit country, where cases have mounted over 4.2 million and death toll reached over 148,000.
In Brazil, more than 2.3 million cases and over 85,000 deaths have been reported so far.
More than 9.7 million patients have recovered from the disease across the world so far.
