Karachi (Staff Report): The fishermen hunted a 17-feet long whale shark from deep waters in South Karachi’s Kara in the early hours of Thursday.
The fins and fats of such whale are considered very valuable while some of its body parts are used to make Surgical threads.
The giant shark, weighing around 3.5 tons, will be auctioned at the Karachi Fish Harbour today (Thursday).
Previously big fish, like whales, have been found near the shore of the Arabian Sea by the city.
