Terrorists attack Pak Army checkpost from Afghanistan, says ISPR

Karachi (Staff Report): Terrorists from Afghanistan border area opened fire at a Pakistani border post in Khyber Agency on Friday morning.

According to a press release issued by the military’s media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), in reaction to the aggression, Pakistani army effectively responded to the fire. Two FC soldiers received minor injuries, while there were reports of a number of militants killed in the exchange of fire.

The move comes amid a wave of terrorist attacks in the country.

Thursday's attack in Sehwan was also part of the same wave in the country, and the fifth blast in less than a week targeting innocent people.
