Karachi: All the banks across the country will remain closed on May 1, 2017 (Monday) on the occasion of “Labour Day” as declared by the government of Pakistan.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), there will be a public holiday across Pakistan on the International Labour Day.
The day is aimed at paying tributes to workers’ sacrifices in achieving economic and social rights all over the world.
