Karachi (Web Desk): Quetta Gladiators defeated Karachi Kings by five wickets in 16th match of the 9th edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL 9) at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Thursday.
Quetta Gladiators won the toss and decided to field first.
Batting first, Karachi Kings set a 166-run target for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs.
James Vance 37 and Mohammad Nawaz played an innings of 28 runs, Shaan Masood and Hasan Ali each scored 2 runs.
Apart from this, Tim Seifert scored 21, Kieron Pollard 13 and Shoaib Malik scored 12 runs while Anwar Ali played an unbeaten innings of 25 runs.
On behalf of Quetta, Abrar Ahmed dismissed 3 players, Aqil Hussain and Osama Tariq took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Quetta Gladiators achieved target in 20 overs for loss of 5 wickets.
Jason Rowe scored 52, Saud Shakeel 24, Khawaja Nafey 2, Sarfraz Ahmed 3, Rally Rasso 6, Sherifan Radhford 58 while Aqeel Hussain scored 22 runs.
Karachi Kings Hassan Ali and Zahid Mahmood took two wickets each while Shoaib Malik took one wicket.
