Gujranwala (Staff Report/Agencies): PTI Chairman Imaran Khan-led long march on Tuesday resumed its journey from Gujranwala’s Chen Da Qila.
The march which started its journey from Lahore’s Liberty Chowk on October 29, 2022, stopped at Chan Da Qila on Monday.
Addressed the PTI workers, Imran Khan said that he would be continuing his journey towards Gujranwala tomorrow (Tuesday).
“As soon as we pass through a city, Pakistanis will see that revolution is coming in the country. The entire nation is a witness that a peaceful revolution is coming to Pakistan,” Khan said.
He told the attendees of the march that in order to ensure the supremacy of law in the country, he needed the support of the public.
“Haqeeqi Azadi Caravan from Sindh has started its journey to join us in Islamabad,” the PTI chief said and added, “InshaAllah there will be the greatest ever gathering of Pakistanis in Islamabad.”

Punjab Government Spokesperson Musarrat Cheema said that PTI’s long march will start from “Chen Da Qila”.

PTI leader Asad Umar said he has submitted an alternate plan for the ongoing long march to party chief Imran Khan, adding that they there might be a delay in reaching Islamabad which was originally scheduled for November 4.
Umar also slammed Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah for calling the people joining the party’s long march a “mob”.
“Those calling Pakistani people mob should have shame. The people are not with you,” said Umar in a press conference. He also challenged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to stand among the people.
“There is a paper democracy in Pakistan. In a democratic system the politicians have to make decisions,” said the former finance minister. He added that former prime minister Imran Khan is unwilling to listen to anyone.
