Lahore (Web Desk): Veteran Pakistani classical singer Ustad Hussain Bakhsh Gullo passed away in Lahore on Tuesday.
He was the son of the renowned vocalist Ustad Nathu Khan, hailing from the famous Patiala Gharana of classical music.
Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi expressed grief and sorrow over the death of famous singer of the subcontinent, Ustad Hussain Bakhsh Gullo, the Radio Pakistan reported.
Commiserating with the bereaved family, he prayed for the departed soul.
The information minister said Ustad Hussain Bakhsh Gullo who performed his art all over the world left his singing footprints everywhere.
"Ustad Hussain Bakhsh Gullo also continued to awaken the magic of his voice on Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television," the minister said, adding that with his death, a brilliant chapter of classical music has closed today.
