Kohat (Web Desk): Four persons including three policemen were martyred in a terrorist attack on police check post near Lachi toll plaza on Kohat Indus highway.
According to the initial reports, the terrorists attacked the Lachi Toll Plaza and security checkpost at midnight.
The martyred cops included Lance Naik Constable Amjad, Lance Naik Constable Junaid and Constable Waqar.
A resident of Lakki Marwat, Noor Muhammad, was also martyred in the attack.
Heavy contingents of the police and Pakistan Army cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation to hunt down the terrorists.
The incident comes just two days after a vehicle carrying police personnel on polio duty was attacked in the Mamund tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Bajaur district. Seven policemen were martyred in the incident.
