World Cup 2023: Sri Lanka win toss, bat first against Pakistan

Hyderabad, India (Web Desk) Sri Lanka on Tuesday won toss and decided to bat first against Pakistan in the ICC Men's One-Day International (ODI) World Cup 2023 at Indian Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan have made a change as Fakhar Zaman has been dropped and Abdullah Shafique has replaced the left-handed opener.

Sri Lanka have also made one change and Theekshana comes in for Kasun Rajitha.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan started their world cup run with first win against Netherlands by 81 runs at the same venue in India's Hyderabad.

The Green Shirts secured first win by defending their 287-run target with help of pacers duo Hassan Ali who dismissed two Dutch batsmen and Harris Rauf who took 3 wickets.
