Srinagar (Web Desk): Indian forces in another act of state-sanctioned brutality martyred two youth in the Shopian district of the Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK), Radio Pakistan reported.

The two were killed during a ‘cordon and search’ operation in the Awneera area of the district. Occupying forces also suspended internet services in the district.

On June 7, Indian troops martyred at least four Kashmiri youth in the Pulwama district of the occupied valley.

On May 31, Indian troops killed at least two more Kashmiri youth in Shopian district.

According to the Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the troops shot dead the youth during a cordon and search operation in Dragad Sugan area of the district. The operation was going on when last reports came in.

Forceful anti-India demonstrations erupted in the area as people took to the streets against the killing of the youth. Indian police and troops fired pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes between the demonstrators and the forces’ personnel.
