Peshawar (Web Desk): Awami National Party (ANP) President Asfandyar Wali Khan’s wife passed away in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Monday.
The deceased was also the mother of ANP’s provincial president, Aimal Wali Khan.
Her funeral prayer time will be confirmed later. She will be buried in Wali Bagh, Charsadda.
President Zardari, PM Shehbaz condole death of Asfandyar Wali’s wife
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed condolences over the demise of ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan's wife.
In their separate condolence messages, the President and the premier prayed for the departed soul and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
“My sympathies and prayers go to the bereaved family,” President Asif Ali Zardari said, according to a President House press release.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and patience to the grieved family members to bear the loss with fortitude.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also expressed grief over the death of Awami National Party leader Asfandyar Wali Khan’s wife.
Sympathising with the bereaved family, the premier prayed to Allah Almighty for forgiveness of the departed soul and patience to the family members.
