Gaza (Web Desk): The Israel-Hamas war continues for the fifth day as Israeli attacks on Gaza intensified where at least 1078 Palestinians have been martyred and over 4000 injured.
In the last twenty-four hours, Israel bombed more than 200 targets in AlFurqan district of Gaza strip. According to the Israeli army, this is the third attack on AlFurqan in the last 24 hours, during which 450 targets were hit.
In Gaza at least 950 are martyred and more than 5,000 are injured while in Occupied West Bank at least 21 people died in recent attacks and at least 130 got injured according to Palestinian health ministry and Palestine Red Crescent Society. Three Palestinian journalists have been killed in the recent Israeli bombing, while 7 journalists have been killed in the ongoing bombing since Saturday.
UNICEF says that more than 187,000 Palestinians have been forced to leave their homes and have taken refuge in schools.
On the other hand, according to Israeli Medical Service, in Israel at least 1,200 dead and at least 2,800 are injured.
Israel has tightened the blockade of Gaza, cutting off the supply of water, electricity, food and fuel, adding to the hardships of the already restricted Gaza residents.
The United Nations has described the complete blockade of Gaza as a violation of international law and has said that the blockade will endanger the survival of citizens. The United Nations has called for humanitarian corridors in and out of Gaza.

European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell accused the Israeli government on Tuesday of breaking international law by imposing a total blockade of Gaza in response to the attack by Palestinian militant group Hamas on Israel.
After an emergency meeting to discuss the repercussions of the attack, Borrell also said an "overwhelming majority" of EU foreign ministers supported continuing aid payments for the Palestinian Authority, which governs the West Bank.
