London (Web Desk): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Thursday reached Saudi Arabia from London to start his journey back home.

Nawaz Sharif's flight departed from terminal 4 at 4:01 London time and arrived in Jeddah at 12:00 local time in Saudi Arabia.

Muslim League-N workers had reached Avenfield to bid farewell to their leader. During his stay in Saudi Arabia for about a week, Nawaz Sharif has several meetings with top officials.

Following his visit to Saudi Arabia, Nawaz Sharif will reach Dubai on October 17 or 18 and after staying there for 3 days, he will leave for Lahore on October 21.

As per reports, a special flight has been booked from Dubai to return home. The special flight has been named "Hope of Pakistan".

The special flight will first land in Islamabad from Dubai and then proceed to Lahore, where Sharif is scheduled to address a gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan.

The former prime minister arrived in London nearly four years ago in November 2019 to seek medical treatment after he was allowed to leave Pakistan by the Lahore High Court (LHC) after he was permanently disqualified from holding public office by the Supreme Court (SC) in 2017.
