Peshawar (Web Desk): The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday nominated Ali Amin Gandapur as its candidate for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chief minister slot.

According to party sources, PTI founder Imran Khan has approved Gandapur’s nomination for the position.
Gandapur won from NA-44 (Dera Ismail Khan) and defeated defeated Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman while he also won the polls on provincial seat PK-113- Dera Ismail Khan III.

It is pertinent to mention that Ali Amin Gandapur was the provincial revenue minister during PTI’s first government in KP and later he served as the minister of Kashmir affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan in the cabinet of former premier Imran Khan.
