Saudi Prince Fahad Bin Sultan calls on Army chief Bajwa at GHQ

Rawalpindi (Staff Report): Governor of Tabuk of Saudi Arabia Prince Fahad bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz on Monday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.

During the meeting matters of mutual interest including regional security situation came under discussion, the statement added.

On Dec 31, the army chief had met Saudi Arabia's Assistant Minister of Defence Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al-Ayesh.

Last year, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Riyadh on the invitation of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz to participate in the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia agreed to negotiate a free trade agreement (FTA) for trade liberalisation and increasing the volume between the two countries.
