Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): The Islamabad High Court on Thursday approved PTI Senior leader Shahbaz Gill bail in the sedition case filed against him.
IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard the post-arrest bail petition of PTI leader Shahbaz Gill in a sedition case.
After hearing the arguments, IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah granted bail to Gill against Rs0.5million surety bond.
During the last hearing, Gill’s counsel revealed that Imran Khan’s chief of staff was willing to tender an apology.
Last week, Gill approached the IHC after his the trial court denied his in sedition case.
In August, Islamabad police arrested PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s chief of staff Gill after a treason case was filed against him for inciting mutiny within the Pakistan Army through his remarks during a private TV channel show.
