Repatriation of illegal foreign nationals continues

Islamabad (Web Desk): Repatriation of illegal foreign nationals including Afghans to their homeland is continuing in a dignified and safe manner.

1638 illegal Afghan nationals returned to their country on Sunday.

So far, 436,790 illegal Afghans have been repatriated to Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi on Monday said that foreigners, whether Afghan nationals or otherwise, cannot stay in Pakistan indefinitely without a visa.
Talking to a private news channel, he said millions of Afghan citizens are legally present in Pakistan who have access to all facilities including health, education and business.

The minister said we have asked only those foreigners to leave the country who do not have valid visa.
Recalling the drowning case of illegal immigrants in Greece, Murtaza Solangi said that everyone knows how illegal immigrants are treated in the world.

The minister said Pakistan has been criticized by foreign countries for sending illegal immigrants back to their country.

“However, Pakistan's record regarding illegal residents is very good compared to other countries of the world,” said.
