Malakand (Web Desk): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said education has a great impact on society because it takes people to another level.
Addressing a ceremony at Malakand University to celebrate the inauguration of a new academic block, PM Khan said an educated population can take a country to heights it has never reached before.
“We have to fully participate in that [technological revolution] as we have been left behind,” the PM said and added that Pakistan had committed a great mistake in not paying emphasis on technology, technical and higher education.
Talking about the tourism sector, the premier said the sector alone could help resolve Pakistan's [foreign] reserve problems. Many investors were waiting to invest in these projects, he maintained.
The premier later also inaugurated three newly constructed tunnels at the Swat Expressway.
