PSL 9: Multan Sultans defeat Islamabad United by 5 wickets

Multan (Web Desk): Multan Sultans defeated Islamabad United by five wickets in the fifth match of the 9th edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL 9) at Multan International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Multan Sultans won the toss and decided to field first.

Batting first, Islamabad United scored 144 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.

Chasing the target, Multan Sultans scored the required number of runs in 19.5 overs for loss of 5 wickets.

Islamabad United, Salman Ali Agha played an innings of 52 runs while Jordan Cox scored 41 runs.

Other players include Colin Munro 8, Alex Hales 2, Azam Khan 13, Shadab Khan 11, Naseem Shah 2, Faheem Ashraf. while Imad Wasim, Timel Mills and Obaid Shah returned to the pavilion without any score.
