Pakistan will not let Nawaz become next Morsi: Maryam

Lahore (Staff Report/Agencies): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz vice president Maryam Nawaz has said that Pakistan is neither Egypt and nor his party will let former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif become next Morsi.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, former PM’s daughter said her father Nawaz Sharif has heart issues from last 20 years and has suffered as many as three heart attacks. "Nawaz had third heart attack in Adiala Jail. We were not informed about it immediately. Nawaz need one more bypass surgery. Her large heart vain is 95% closed and kidney has stage three issue."

Terming the opposition's proposed 'charter of economy' as a mazaq-i-ma'eeshat (making a joke of the economy), the VP said there can be no agreement.

She also distanced herself from PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif's decision to support the charter, saying Shehbaz sahib has a lot more political and administrative experience than me and he has his own opinion.

Maryam said she believes that there shouldn’t be any 'Charter of Economy' with a person who is responsible for the economic crisis.
