PM Imran, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince discuss worsen situation in IoK

Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): Prime Minister Imran Khan telephoned Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and discussed the deteriorating situation in the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

During the telephonic conversion, both the leaders discussed latest regional and bilateral cooperation issues.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince tweeted and confirmed the development and said that the two discusses “ways to enhance bilateral cooperation as well as the latest regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest”.

On August 5, India abolished Article 370 that granted special status to occupied Kashmir. The Modi government sent in an unprecedented number of Indian troops to the disputed valley, imposed a curfew and placed Kashmiri politicians under house arrest.

The move has been condemned internationally and by opposition leaders in India.
