Chakwal (Staff Report): At least twenty passengers were killed and fifty two others injured in a road accident near chakwal.
According to details, the bus was carrying eighty two passengers, heading towards Raiwind from Kohat.
The incident occurred when a bus fell into a deep excavation at Dhook Pathan near Chakwal on Wednesday evening.
Rescue teams reached to the location and shifted injured to nearby hospital after providing first aid to passengers.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the accident and directed concerned authorities to provide best medical treatment to the injured free of cost.
