COAS lauds Pakistan Army team's rescue efforts in quake-hit Turkiye, Syria

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir visited the Headquarters Engineers Division, the military's media wing said on Wednesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief was briefed in detail regarding efforts carried out by Pakistan Army Urban Search and Rescue Team (US&RT) during Turkiye and Syria earthquake.

The COAS met and interacted with the rescue team members and appreciated their professionalism and commendable work done during rescue efforts in the earthquake.

"The army chief highlighted the importance of our enduring strategic relations with Türkiye and Syria and need to assist, particularly in times of crises," the ISPR said.
