I will step down if opposition returns looted money, says PM

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday made an offer to the opposition, saying he will quit the PM office if they return the looted wealth.

“I will resign tomorrow if you (opposition) deposit the money you looted, back into the national exchequer,” said the premier while chairing the federal cabinet.

Lashing out at Opposition parties, he said that they had threatened to resign but they could not do it as they lack the courage to take such steps.

“Such people do not have the guts to resign,” PM Khan said and added, “Making such a move requires courage and character.”
The premier maintained that opposition is actually striving for NRO-like concession.
