Pak Army ‘vehemently’ denies presence of Chinese troops in Pakistan

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Pakistan Army on Thursday "vehemently" denied Indian media reports claiming the presence of Chinese troops in Pakistan and the deployment of additional troops along the Line of Control (LoC), said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

“News circulating in Indian electronic and social media claiming additional deployment of Pakistan Army troops along LOC in GB and alleged use of Skardu Airbase by China is false, irresponsible and far from truth,” Pak Army’s media wing said in a tweet.

“No such movement or induction of additional forces has taken place. We also vehemently deny presence of Chinese troops in Pakistan,” the ISPR added.

Indian media had claimed that after the recent Sino-India clash in the Galwan Valley area of Ladakh – part of the disputed Jammu and Kashmir region – additional deployment of army troops has been made along the LoC and China has deployed combat aircraft at Gilgit-Baltistan's Skardu Air Base.
